Adult Programs at Grace
Grace offers several different programs for adults. Here are some of the offerings.
Bible Study
Grace offers several opportunities for adults to continue to grow in the wonderful truths of God’s Word. Sessions take place at 8 a.m. Sunday morning, and at 2 and 7 p.m. Tuesday. Topics range from study of individual books of the Bible to discussions of how the Bible addresses contemporary issues. We also off opportunities for personal Bible study on our church website. Click here to access our online bible studies. Check our website often as we frequently add to the Bible studies available online.
Choir
Psalm 100 proclaims: “Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs.” Grace’s adult choir participates in worship services from September through May and is open to all confirmed members.
Women’s Circle
This group, open to all women, meets monthly except during the summer. Its purpose is to promote and support the congregation’s service committees as well as the world missions of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod. Meetings typically begin with a Bible study and continue with a variety of activities, such as a November Holiday Tea, Lenten suppers, attendance at spring and fall rallies, and serving at various church functions.
Jesus Cares Ministry
Grace reaches out to people with developmental disabilities. The group meets at 6:30 p.m. on the first and third Mondays of the month in September through December, and March through May. The one-hour session features opening and closing devotions, Bible story, crafts, games, singing — and everyone goes home with a snack and smile.
Fellowship Opportunities
Our Fellowship Committee plans several activities for our members and guests every year.
If you’ve lived in Hutchinson for a while, you might have already learned about Grace, thanks to our annual National Night Out Party, which attracts nearly 500 people on the first Tuesday in August. We also hold an autumn bonfire, a trip to a Minnesota Twins game, movie nights, tours, special meals, dartball and other activities.
